Having tried and proven Novitec Tridente tradition, a
supercharger is also used to improve the performance of the Maserati
GranTurismo MC Stradale. The 4.7-liter eight-cylinder four-valve V engine
supercharger drive through a cogged belt. Maximum boost pressure is limited to
0.43 bar. To keep the air temperature at the lowest possible cost, the system
also includes a supercharger intercooler water-to-air circuit connected to a
special water with two heat exchangers which provide an ideal temperature.
This conversion also includes a larger intake manifold,
larger injectors and a new mapping for engine electronics calibrated. Novitec
Tridente new mapping coordinate high-performance components, and ensures strong
power curve and is linear as well as the longevity of the engine model.
Central air scoop in the hood Novitec Tridente supercharged
engine provides the optimal amount of combustion air. Tents are optional
available made from especially light carbon fiber clear coated. For optimal
ventilation of the engine bay hood, also available individually without
conversion engine, has two large air vents.
To match the rear diffuser MC Stradale tuner upgrade production systems exhaust butterfly valve with two black-coated or polished tailpipes with diameter of 105 millimeters.
Complex supercharger conversion Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale raised to new levels of performance: with 646 hp at 7500 rpm engine with the Novitec Tridente roots beyond 196 hp. Simultaneously peak torque grows to 460 lb / ft at 5,600 rpm. As for the characteristics of the supercharged engine, high-performance machines offer a variety that can be used very widely from the rotation speed idle to rev limiter.
In combination with a six-speed automatic transmission, which shifted gears either via the shift paddles on the steering wheel or automatically, a light-tuned sports car construction provides excellent performance: from the other MC Stradale shoots up to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and reach speeds of 124 mph after just 11.4 seconds. Top speed 190 mph but optionally available longer gearing makes possible speeds over 205 mph.
While the body of Maserati models of top-of-the-line remains unchanged with the exception of the hood, Novitec Tridente upgrade the appearance of MC Stradale with a combination of staggered custom-tailored tire / wheel that has a 21-inch wheels in front and 22-inch alloy wheels on the axle rear wheels. These wheels are staggered over the design emphasizes the wedge shape of sports car.
Novitec Tridente Nm3 three-piece wheels with five double spokes are mounted on the front axle in size 9Jx21. Size 255/30 ZR 21 Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires transfer the steering, braking and cornering forces. Excellent traction on the driven axle supplied by the size 315/25 ZR 22 tires mounted on rims 11.5Jx22 size.
The Novitec Tridente ride-height lowering is specifically calibrated with high-performance tires. Progressive sport springs lower the ride height of the coupe by some 25 millimeters, which benefits not only the appearance of MC Stradale, but also handle that for a lower center of gravity become more agile.
